Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Hitting a Bird

A plane was forced to make an emergency landing after it hit a bird, minutes after it had taken off.

As of now, no any injury has been reported and it is believed that no any severe damage was made to plane.

The report from the local news says that the plane took off from the Warsaw International Airport safely but moments later it hit a bird.

Understanding the risk, the pilot decided to make an emergency landing as there were more than 180 passengers and six crew members onboard.

The plane was scheduled for the journey to Mombasa, Kenya via Larnaca, Cyprus.

A spokesperson from the airport authority, Przemyslaw Przybylski, said that no any injury or damage to the plane was seen and seeing the ‘risk’, pilot had made a wise decision.

He added that the plane circled for around 90 minutes in air to burn fuel before landing safely.

An expert meanwhile said that the most planes, now a day, are designed to tackle these bird hitting situations and it doesn’t pose any ‘major threat’, but even though pilots choose not to put passengers’ life on risk and hence take emergency landing to check everything is ok.

Similarly, planes are also designed to handle the “network disturbance” due to mobile phones or other networking devices onboard but even though, keeping a safe side, the passengers are advised to keep them in airplane mode or switch off.

And in this case, the bird hit was not so major incident.

Sadly, we have no information when the plane’s rescheduled again for the destination.
