Mayor Gets Killed in Philippines Jail, America asks for Investigation

It’s the second time in one week, when a mayor has been killed by the police officers while investigation the drug related cases.

As per as report issued by the police, the officers were searching for ‘weapons’ in the mayor Ronaldo Espinosa’s cell, when he first started firing and in return the officers had to kill him.

President Rodrigo Duterte, is very strong on drug related cases and wants to eliminate every person who are into drug business.

Actually, this issue was one of the main issue he stood up during election campaign, and people believe that he will stand by his words.

Unfortunately, the whole matter is being criticised by the human rights activists from across the world.

America, who is friend country of Philippines, has also condemned the actions and asked that there should be a fair investigation of killings as well as how he (mayor) got access of weapons inside the cell.

The same ‘demand’ is being made activists as well.

Explaining the whole matter, President Duterte said that both the mayors who have been killed in past weeks, were in drug businesses.

He added that Espinosa started firing first, which forced the forces to kill him.

Eventually he even cleared that no one can escape if he/she has direct or indirect involvement in the drug related business.

However, a report disclosed that several businessmen and mayors along with other politicians are involved in this business and president is planning to take a very strong action against them.
