Smog Chokes Lives of People Living in Delhi NCR
Environment pollution has become a major concern in National Capital Region Delhi, India and today supreme court of India, intervened in the matter and asked the state government to provide full detail on this.
It’s been reported that High Court of Delhi yesterday ordered to keep schools and colleges shut for three days and today the Supreme Court has ordered to submit a full report.
Between this health crisis, the blame game between political parties have started with ruling party leader and Delhi’s CM, Arvind Kejriwal, blamed the Haryana Government and Punjab Government for the pollution.
Replying to this allegation, the Haryana’s chief minister said ‘blaming Haryana for the pollution will not solve the problem and all the parties have to come together to fight this emergency type situation’.
As per as reports, in last winters the Delhi government came up with an idea of ODD EVEN to tackle this pollution issue, which was fairly successful.
But it doesn’t seem that this time it would be successful because of several other technicalities.
Recently the whole country celebrated Diwali, a festival of lights, in which people celebrate by bursting crackers and lighting ‘diyas’ (lamps).
And according to few experts, these crackers have made the situation more worst and played a very vital role in polluting the national capital.
Minister, Imran Hussain, has written a letter to the central government asking a scientific investigation on this critical situation.
Like last year, the Delhi CM has opened himself for any type of suggestions to tackle this issue.
