It has been reported that more than 600 people were gathered at the place to celebrate the New Year when an identified man from the crowd started firing indiscriminately.

The firing continued for around seven minutes, which eventually killed 39 people and injured dozens of others.

Among 39, 27 were from foreign lands including places like Israel, Russia, France, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, Belgium, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

A local news has recently reported that the terrorist organization, Islamic State, has taken responsibility for the attack and marked the attacker as “a heroic soldier”.

Actually, Turkey is carrying out the military actions against this terror group in Syria along with other neighboring countries.

And as per as IS, Turkey is shedding blood of Muslims in Syria and that is the main reason, why so many attacks are happening one after another.

Let me clear that it was the third attack in just a few months in Turkey.

A recent report from the investigating agency says that the attacker was arrived at the place by taxi and fired 180 bullets on the crowd. He then fled away during the chaos.

Investigating agencies also believe that the attacker may be from Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan.

Agencies have already launched a manhunt to track down the suspect.
