One cannot just force you to do anything in which you are not so ‘comfortable’.

But sometimes people just go a level up in imposing their view on others.

Well, something similar happened with an Indian Athlete, who finally decided to withdraw herself from the championship as she believed that it was against the spirit of the sports.

It has been reported that an Indian Shooter, Heena Sindhu, who was once world number one shooter, was asked to wear HIJAB while her play at Asian Shooting Championship in Iran.

She rather than accepting the ‘condition’, withdrew herself from the championship, saying that this is against the spirit of sports and said: “one just can’t force any player to wear anything, it’s completely up to the comfort of player”.

Heena tweeted furiously expressing her views on twitter, clearing to her fans, why she had withdrawn her name from the championship.

She mentioned clearly that ‘she respects every religion, but forcing any player to follow their ‘condition’ is not something we can say a right thing’.

As per as report, before this tournament started, the Iranian authority had informed about their ‘rules and condition’ for the player and other staffs. And among several rules, one rule states that ‘female players have to wear HIJAB while playing’.

However, here the interesting fact is, there are many Islamic countries in the world, but yet no such news has come from another country other than Iran.

Heena has done something similar in the past as well, and that time also, it was the Islamic Republic of Iran.
